Diana Vellos Coker is an AV® Preeminent™ Peer Review Rated* attorney whose practice includes a broad range of business immigration matters for corporate entities, hospitals, and educational institutions. Her practice focuses on corporate immigration matters for the high-tech, pharmaceutical/biotech and health care industries including implementing overall immigration policies and procedures.
Improving our current immigration system is of critical importance for Ms. Coker. As a daughter of an immigrant, she has seen first-hand the real-life impact our immigration laws have on families and our community. She frequently speaks with members of Congress and their staff regarding immigration issues and has served on a grassroots taskforce to advocate for positive change.
Ms. Coker was awarded a Juris Doctor degree from The Washington College of Law at American University in Washington, D.C. and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Macalester College in St. Paul, Minnesota. She has over 15 years of experience in the field of immigration law and speaks on topics including mergers and acquisitions, adjustment of status, visa options for students, and I-9 compliance. Ms. Coker is licensed to practice law in California, Illinois, and Washington, D.C. and is admitted to practice in the US District Court for the Southern District of California and the US District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
