
Shannon R. Napier is an Associate with Larrabee | Mehlman | Albi | Coker LLP. Ms. Napier was awarded her Juris Doctor degree in 2009 from the Thomas Jefferson School of Law. Before attending law school, Ms. Napier attended Western Michigan University where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in 2005, magna cum laude, with a major in English (Practical Writing Emphasis) and a minor in Political Science.
Ms. Napier has been employed in the field of business immigration law for over seven years, and has been an employee of the firm for the last four years. Before transitioning into an Associate position with the firm in early 2010, Ms. Napier held the position of Sr. Paralegal with the firm’s Labor Certification Team. In that position Ms. Napier’s work focused on PERM including preparing and filing applications for permanent employment certification with the Department of Labor as well as researching immigration regulations and DOL policies to prepare post-filing audit responses. Prior to her employment with Larrabee | Mehlman | Albi | Coker LLP, Ms. Napier worked for the west Michigan law firm, Miller Johnson, where she assisted the firm’s immigration practice group in preparation of various employment-based nonimmigrant and immigrant visa filings.
