 Megan M. Wada practices business immigration law. She counsels a broad range of clients, from individuals and small businesses to large corporations. Prior to joining Larrabee Mehlman Albi Coker LLP, Ms. Wada practiced business and family immigration law for four years with a boutique immigration law firm in San Francisco, California. She has successfully represented professionals, students, families, religious workers, and investors in nonimmigrant work visa, employment- and family-based permanent residence, and naturalization cases.
Ms. Wada is an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), and she volunteered as a Co—Liaison for the New Members Division of the Northern California Chapter of AILA. She interned as a law clerk for the United States Department of Agriculture, Office of the General Counsel in San Francisco, as well as for the Benchmark Institute.
Ms. Wada graduated from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law. Prior to law school, she lived in Mérida, Venezuela on a Rotary International Scholarship as a Cultural Ambassador and worked in New York City for a law firm as a paralegal. Ms. Wada earned her Bachelor of Art Degree in Political Science at the University of California, Berkeley. She was born and raised in Hawaii and is proficient in Spanish.
