Breakfast Roundtable -- Everything You Wanted to Know About Priority Dates and Quota Backlogs
Have you ever wondered why the green card process takes so long and why many foreign workers are keenly focused on their priority date and preference category? Join us for our next seminar in the LMAC Roundtable Series for an overview of the green card process including priority dates and the employment-based preference system.
This in-person roundtable will be held on Wednesday, September 21, 2011 at 8:30 am at our office.
The topics and questions that we will cover include:
- The employment-based green card categories – EB-1, EB-2, EB-3
- How is the green card preference category determined?
- What is a priority date and how is it determined?
- Why is there a quota backlog?
- What (if anything) can a company do to speed up the green card process?
- What is the Visa Bulletin and how does it relate to quota backlogs?
- Quota backlogs and additional H-1B time
We will also be providing a call-in option for clients. If you are interested in attending the presentation either in-person or by phone, please RSVP by Tuesday, September 15th with your name, company name, whether you will be attending in-person or by phone, and your phone number (if calling-in) to RSVP@larrabee.com. Space is limited. We will confirm your attendance via e-mail and provide a call-in number for those choosing that option.
We hope that you will be able to join us, either in person or by phone.
