On June 12, 2015, the U.S. Department of State announced that its Bureau of Consular Affairs is experiencing technical problems with the issuance of U.S. passports and visas at all U.S. Embassies and Consular Posts abroad. They are currently working to correct the problems, but have not provided an anticipated resolution date. New Form I-693 Report of Medical Examination and Vaccination Record

This message pertains to applicants for I-485 Adjustment of Status to Permanent Residence in the United States. The updated 3/30/15 version of Form I-693, Report of Medical Examination and Vaccination Record will be required for any I-485 applications submitted to USCIS on or after 7/27/15. The revision date is located on the lower left of the Form. USCIS Completes Data Entry of Fiscal Year 2016 H-1B Cap-Subject Petitions USCIS issued the following Press Release Today: Release date: 5/4/2015 USCIS announced May 4, 2015, that it has completed data entry of all fiscal year 2016 H-1B cap-subject petitions selected in our computer-generated random process. USCIS will now begin returning all H-1B cap-subject petitions that were not selected. Due to the high volume of filings, the time frame for returning these petitions is uncertain.
