LAC has been providing immigration services to employers for decades, through boom and bust. We advised clients during the rise and fall of the dot-com industry; during the aftermath of 9/11; during and after the 2008 recession; and during periods of frantic hiring and massive layoffs. We have shared the excitement, stress and sometimes trauma of these situations with our clients. We are committed to doing whatever we can to alleviate both the minor and the major stress factors faced by our clients in the immigration process, and doing so with the highest level of professionalism and expertise.
The Firm evolved from an immigration practice initially established by Attorney Peter Larrabee in 1981. In 1995, he broke the immigration practice away from Gray Cary Ware & Freidenrich (now DLA Piper), and formed Larrabee & Associates, which is today Larrabee Albi Coker LLP. The Firm is currently led by partners Fausta M. Albi and Diana Vellos Coker, both of whom have been acknowledged by the Best Lawyers in America®[1] publication for legal excellence in the field of immigration law.
We have a 38-year legacy in immigration law, supporting the innovators, entrepreneurs, discoverers and educators committed to making great contributions in their field — and who seek to make these contributions from the United States. We believe in what we do. From the stone masons and builders of the railroads, to the discoverers of vaccines and founders of Fortune 500 companies, we have immigrants to thank for much of this nation’s success. We use our experience to support the legacy of hard work, dedication, creativity, and entrepreneurial spirit provided by immigrants to the United States. We are honored to do what we do.
